Gulf Theater Festival
The Gulf theater festival is a cultural and theatrical gathering, which is celebrated periodically every two years and hosted by Gulf Cooperation Council countries. More than 400 theater maker, critics, artist is involved in this cultural phenomenon. The festival displays different cultural events and activities from plays , workshops. And reading . It’s a festival designed to exchange experiences , networking, and promoting theater movement in the GCC.
In September 2024, the Kingdom hosted the new edition of the Gulf Theater Festival in Riyadh, continuing its efforts to promote cultural exchange and artistic communication. The festival featured an exceptional selection of theatrical performances showcased both within and outside the Kingdom, alongside a comprehensive program of events. As the largest theatrical gathering for GCC countries, the festival included diverse activities such as academic seminars, critical discussion sessions, artistic and training workshops, and various exhibitions, adding valuable educational and cultural dimensions.
